The WW2 field boards look like narrow ?1 star Junior Lieutenant of Administration-- if that sounds  check out the Lastovka group in the Researched Soviet groups subforum!

These tunics are hard to date unless you are lucky enough to find one with a legible manufacturer's stamp, the same olive green being used 1943-69. What are the metal buttons like? Check most of them, since some (especially neck and cuffs) are often replaced over time. The backs will help tell if this is actual WW2, 1950s, or 1960s.

    No crossed cannon devices?

:Cat-Scratch: Maybe just the angle, but the straps looked narrow to me-- kind of a brick colored stripe up the middle, RED or RASPBERRY piping around the edges? How many stars on the straps for rank? How wide are the straps? The Leitenants above are for service tunic, so metallic braid and all red piped, without the brick center striping field boards had.

The construction of the buttons, or dates on the backs, will indicate age better than the color of the shirt itself. If the buttons are gilt steel with plain black backs, hollow 2 piece, likely WW2-early 1950s. From the early 1950s on, they tend to be the same construction but marked with makers' name (Usually Moshshtamp) and year date "54," "61" etc.
