DDR DDR Regular Fire Dept v/s Volunteer Fire Dept

I was going through my DDR bins and came across the Fire Dept section. I noticed that the insignia between the Volunteer FD and the Regular FD varied in that the Volunteer FD had the carmine cheverons on the Russian Braid.

I am interested in seeing what you all have in your collections from either the Regular Fire Dept or the Volunteer sides.

I feel that the Volunteer FD insignia are very attractive. Did the two use the same collar tabs?

Paul, Here is the back of a DDR Feuerwehr booklet that shows the professional and volunteer firefighter insignia. As you can see there is a difference between the collar insignia of the two. Kevin
