Paul R Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 (edited) Hi,I am being sent these boards with a lot of other items. I am most excited about the medical Academy boards as I have never seen a cypher set up like this....I have been working to get the Medical boards for a few months. I posted them on the WAF and the response was that they were real yet the cyphers have never been seen before.. in reference or in person. Also, the person I am getting them from does not collect or deal in militaria. Edited December 2, 2005 by Paul Reck
Paul R Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 back... sorry about the bad side shot.RegardsPaul
Paul R Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 On the Flak Board, what does the "F 32" represent? Paul
Garth Thompson Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Paul,The "F 32" stands for Fortress Regt 32. Generally you will only see the "F" with the Flack Artillery color red. Garth
Paul R Posted December 6, 2005 Author Posted December 6, 2005 Thank you Garth! I will see what I can find on Fortress Flak troops. RegardsPaul!
Paul R Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 The stash finally came in! Here are some better pics of the boards!
Paul R Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 here is a close up of the cyphers. I have yet to see another cypher with the A and caduesa as one piece.
Paul R Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 Here is the reverse. The interesting thing about these boards is that they were removed from a tunic... I bet these boards on a tunic WOULD HAVE been a great find! RegardsPaull
Paul R Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 Here is a mint sew in strap for a Fortress troop(arty).
Paul R Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 Back...It seems as if the same maker made both of the above boards.
