"the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation had committed nearly $1 billion for health and development projects in India. Most of the money has gone to prevent AIDS and eradicate polio."

Your friends Xbox problem sounds a bit trivial to me and certainly not relating to peace, disarmament or development.

Gates is a force for good in this world, wish there'd be more Bill Gates'es

Mr. Gates and his kind are examples of a new generation of ultra rich. In past years the weatlth giants were self-indulgent but today they are not content to sit on their wealth and "play". I salute Mr. Gates for his efforts to make this a better place in which to live for those less fortunate.

Very true indeed. But a prize for "peace, disarmament and development" named after Indira Gandhi?

I wonder what the insignia could be. Brass collar, perhaps?

    Cheers,
