Hello Gentlemen,

I would highly appreciate your comment on this U-Boot Kriegsabzeichen. The pin on the back has obviously been fixed (or replaced?). The remaining gold finish looks old to me.

Do you think it is a genuine WW2 piece? Would it be possible to determine who was the manufacruter of this particular badge?

Hi Thorsten,

the badge appears to be the type made by Deumer of Ludenschied,maybe a variant without the cut-out swastia?

The hinge and pin look original to the badge and may have broken off at some point and been re-attached,as you mentioned.

Looks like a good zinc badge to me.

This miniature came with the u-boat badge and supposed to be from the same person. It looks like it was never golden colour? What is your opinion on that?
