tsarenko1975 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Dear colleagues! You can see beatiful miniature of 'For merit before Lithuania' order - 25x13 mm, gold, silver, cold enamel, hand engraving by Nikita Koval'chuk (Vinnitsa, Ukraine). Rare!
larsb001 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Hello. Interesting to see. Is this one of the newly introduced Lithuanian Orders (of which I have no knowledge)? If so, please provide some background. If you have others of these more modern miniatures it would be interesting to see as a reference as I have only some of the older (1918-40) period items. Regards, Lars
tsarenko1975 Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Thank, Lars! It's copy of 'new' order (est. 1992). This copy made for ex-embassador of Ukraine in Lithuania mr. Alexey Bezgin (now - rector of Theatre's university in Kiev). At this time I have only new orders miniatures...

larsb001 Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Hello Tsarenko. Thanks for the additional info, it was interesting to see how the suspension indicates the duty for which it is awarded. Not that I could translate everything, but I got the idea! Lars
