sabrigade Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 The 42nd Highlanders, known as the Blackwatch, bandsman uniform. The Transvaal Scottish were affiliated to the Black Watch. I have to admit that this is not my field of expertise so any inputs are welcome.

The Guards Brigade Group was under the command of the Division. It must have taken ages and ages to get together that group of badges and flashes for the &th Div!!!!!

sabrigade Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 Hi Chris, It took approximately 3 years in the days before the internet was there to assist. I buy up helmet flashes etc when, and if, they come onto the market.
