Chris Boonzaier Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 The problem with most Alpenkorps EK docs is they are signed at company lver and not stamped... Which means, if you want to knoe if it is 1., 2., or 2. Reserve battalion, you have to know who signed it..... Any ideas?

That might be the only way to track this down. I have one of the "standard" Alpenkorps EK documents and it has a unit stamp and has the stamped signature of a regimental commander (Inf.Leib Rgt.). Chris Boonzaier Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 Oberleutnant der Reserve Schuhmann Nailed it! But a correction... Schuchmann. Was in the 2nd reserve Jägers, maybe MG Kompagnie and not before June 1915. Thanks for the leg up. Chris
