HeikoGrusdat Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Can anyone clearly see what these medals are? Should be all three the same... maybe Württemberg DA ? photo is made in Ulm , if you need any uniform details please let me know... all help is welcome. thank you Heiko
Schießplatzmeister Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Hello Heiko: I saw this photo too. I think that you are correct, the medals are probably Württemberg 9 or 12 year service medals. The ribbon color appears to be correct for this possiblity. They do not look like Bavarian awards (which could also be a possibity for Ulm). Best regards, "SPM"
HeikoGrusdat Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 thank you very much SPM , maybe someone else has another idea but I think this is the medal that makes the most sense...
saschaw Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 No other idea; you seem to be perfectly right. 2nd or 3rd class Württemberg long service award, dating this picture to 1913+.
Tom Y Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 (edited) The Kokarden don't look like they're the black and red of Württemburg. More like the cornflower blue and white of Bavaria or green and white of Saxony. Edited January 7, 2010 by Tom Y
Beau Newman Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 The sword hilts are the Infantry officer M89 style w/o a grip cypher. Definitely Wurttemberg.
