Guest Rick Research Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Remy is from a Fußartillerie unit-- looks like "21" to me. Will see what I can dig up from the Militär Wochblatt and Ehrenmal.
Naxos Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Remy is from a Fußartillerie unit-- looks like "21" to me. Will see what I can dig up from the Militär Wochblatt and Ehrenmal. Yes, Fußartillerie Rgt 21
Naxos Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Here is a hard one.... harder than above.... Feldartillerie Rgt. 53 or Reserve-Feldartillerie Rgt. 53
Guest Rick Research Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Remy must have been commissioned May-December 1914 as a Leutnant dR. Survived war per Ehrenmal and not commissioned all of 1915 or first half of 1916 per MWB. A Lt dR Remy of LWB Wetzlar was commissioned Lt dR 13.02.16 in Hessian Drag Rgt 23, so perhaps a cousin?
