Luftwaffe Luftwaffe involvement in the city of Werl, Germany.

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is anybody with some information regarding the german city of 'Werl' situated in the district of Soest, North Rhine-Westphalia region,

specifically the Luftwaffe units that were situated at the airfield there. I believe II./ZG 26 was one of the pre-war units stationed at the base, but any other

information would be greatly received.

My reason is to add some history to this trumpet banner that I recently obtained.....
