One officer had a badge on his right upper arm. it looks like a black oval with silver border, in the middle the number 46 or 48.... Does anyone have an idea? Chris Boonzaier Posted February 18, 2010 Author Share Posted February 18, 2010 Hi, guy in post 2 has a very definite "48", guy in post 3 looks indeed like a "W" but close examination shows he was moving as the shutter went down and it is in fact an unreadable blur. Did RW have regimental arm badges? is it possible that this is a wehrkreis staff? seems to be all kinds of uniforms.
