    "October 24, 1944 - on the river Tissa [aka. Tisza], under heavy fire, he prepared the way for his comrades to ford the river and was the first to cross to the right bank. During the night, he made 20 trips across the river helping the infantry to cross.

    October 28, 1944 - during the day, he lay mines 70 meters from the enemy front lines under automatic rifle fire. He placed 91 anti-tank mines."
