Luftwaffe M.u.K 5 Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge

Hello gents,

I am pleased to show my first Luftwaffe Ground Assault badge, being of the maker M.u.K. 5. It is a little dirty and worn and the catch is missing, but that made it a little more affordable I have compared to other MUK5 GA badges and the pin/catch/material/design/mm all match up so I am pretty confident it is a good one, but any further confirmation would be great. It is the 2-piece riveted eagle version, and it is a great looking badge. Here are some pics.

This maker has one of the best looking Erdkampfabzeichen

Hi Pat...There are some very good, and not so good, copies of this maker out there... but going on the pictures, this one looks to be an original...and there's not many of those.

Well done!

As to the faint "5"...this is one one the characteristics to look out for on originals.
