    Hi

I collect pioneer uniforms and headgear. I am also finding that I like also photoalbums. I was able to purchase a album of a soldier from Pioneer Batl. 4 Magdeburg . It seems that the soldier put toguether the album post war. It is divuided in 2 sections. The 2nd section is his service in Rusia. I find interesting also to study the different uniforms that he used.

    regards

    Hi Paul

All the photos came in the same Album. You can identify the soldier in most of the photos. He must had a Napoleonic complex- Look at post 4 and 7?. My new PIONEER tunic is crossing the Atlantic at this time!!!! Thanks to Chris!!!!!

Seeing all of the various uniforms makes me wonder how long the life expectancy of a uniform subjected to field use was? I dont think that they would have lasted more than a couple of months under harsh field conditions.
