Motorhead Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Fantastic EK! And not so easy to find.the engraving could be period done-but that's a mine field and I don't have such pieces in my collection. Micha
Kriztofer Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 The pin looks very familiar on this one, just cant place it. Chris
Motorhead Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 The blued core EKs by Zimmermann,Chris! But here with a different core.... Micha
Kriztofer Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 RIGHT! Ahh the memory. Yes my favorite crosses, has it been determined that Zimmermann made these now, first I've heard of this?? I noticed on this one that the 4 isn't closed like on the Blue core, is this significant by any chance? Thanks Micha, Chris
Kriztofer Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Wasn't sure where to put this but I guess it's a Zimmermann question not an 800 one. This is one I found in my files, an ordinary 800 (boxed) but the core or at least the crown, appears to be a perfect match for the Zimmerman/Blue core? What think you all. Chris

Motorhead Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Tom.....that would be definitely a cross to have for a closer inspection! Chris-have a look and decide! Micha
Kriztofer Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 The TR cross is an unusual piece, never seen one with this catch before, a first for me AND a very nice cross Tom. Micha, close but no cigar LOL, I didn't have much time to compare the crowns I just sort of knee jerked, thanks for the comparisons and calming me down. Chris
