EK 1939 Cased 1939 EK1

Hello to all,

I bought this cased EK1 by Mayer, last month at a local gun show. The cross is in excellent condition, still retaining its polished frame and frosted beading. The cross actually looks nicer in-hand than in the pictures.

Here it sits in the case. The case is in pretty good shape except for the age spotting on the inside.

(The attachment pin is polished so much that it is like a mirror.)

looks like one of the "russian horde" that helmut weitze

brought back from the soviet union after the wall came down.

square button case, generally in unissued condition, but

having said that, i've seen various states of pristine.
