Organisational Badges Unknown German Miniatures - Help Needed

Hello Everyone,

What do members think of these miniature badges, at first glance I thought Reichssports Badge 1st Model, however they have a different letter form inside the laurel wreath. Looked through the internet without success. Have members any idea. Information appreciated.

it is (early) Bavarian.

Later awarded badges are larger.

Hello AlecH,

are you sure that it is a miniature? So it should be arround 16 mm.

Because of the neddle, I think it is a full size decoration.

Yes, it is not a miniature.

Left a 1951 awarded badge (38mm) with miniature (17.5mm), and right a later, larger badge (45.5mm):

Thanks for your posts, all is clear, post war badge.

Elvis - You surprise me, that they are around 17mm and are full scale, I was assuming the full size badge was roughly on the same scale as old Reichssportsabzeichen which are around 40mm, thinking 17mm badges were the miniature to a newer, bigger, updated badge. Elvis what you write is at odds with what Uwe writes? he says full size 38mm , 45.5mm - miniature 17,5mm?

Uwe, - My two badges are about 17mm. I don't quite understand your posting, the badges I show are about 17mm, not 38mm or 45,5mm. More the size of the miniature you show, although they have a different holding system pin & hook not a stickpin and letter design does not match the design of the miniature you show. The size seems to say miniature.

I have checked my collection and found a LSA miniature (15) with a similar needle system.

Such a needle system is very unusual on a miniature.

But why do you have two of these badges, and I have not such a badge? That is unfair !
