HeikoGrusdat Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 wow, the mvk 2.class with crown and swords was only awarded 3800 times - there can be only some of them on the "Beamtenband" !!!! Great bars, maybe to keep your eyes by good health you want to sell one of these... ?!
Stogieman Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Nice pair Ralph! Pre- and Post-1935. Very nice!
CHRIS W Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Beautiful bars Ralph WAs the Prussian War Aid Cross not allowed after 1935 or was this just a personal choice?Chris
Guest Rick Research Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 That's two very similar but two different guys' bars. Here's a third. [attachmentid=21526]So, Evil Ralph, THERE go your sinister plans for the Global Domination of BMVK2XmKraKV-Band Medal Bars!!! BuwahahahahahahaahhahhahahahackoughackYou got the Luitpolds from 1905 like this[attachmentid=21527]or the recycled 1911s with the big shield and "19-05?"
Stogieman Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 ummmmmmmm, yes, two guys, but the regulations/precedence still suggest one being pre-1934/5, the other being post???
Stogieman Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 BTW, an excellent example of what to look for in a hook-back, they will always show up in many different forms and styles, but this one is very nice (Shown by RickR.) and does not have the nasty "hand-cut" hooks as we sometimes see on bars that are very, very wrong! ;>)
Guest Rick Research Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Except for 19th century bars, which ARE nasty and horrid and pointy and sharp and jagged and tetanus-producing. But not the 1930s ones.
Bob Hunter Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Handsome medal bars regardless of their injury potential!
Ralph A Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 (edited) "THERE go your sinister plans for the Global Domination of BMVK2XmKraKV-Band Medal Bars!!!"...http://cgi.ebay.de/SCHONE-SPANGE-BAYERN-MI...1QQcmdZViewItem welll.... almost... Edited January 4, 2006 by Ralph A
Guest Rick Research Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Ah, that's the regular frontline ribbon. Not special like ours.
Stogieman Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Still a nice bar, despite the lack of Beamter ribbon !!
