The Prussian
Hello gentlemen! Does someone have the regimental history of the Inf.Rgt. Graf Kirchbach (1.Niederschlesisches) Nr.46? I need the info, if Lt.d.Res. Hugo Harhaus was recorded in that regiment. Thanks a lot in advance Edited January 14, 2011 by The Prussian
The Prussian
I´m still looking for informations about my grand.uncle. Fact is, he became Leutnant d.Res in Inf.Rgt.155. But what did he then? In the regimental history of 146 he was not noticed. Maybe a fault, it could be Inf.Rgt.46 (same army-corps as 155!) Does somedy know somethoing about Hugo Harhaus? Ulsterman
Very cool. Alas, I have NONE of these unit's books-but maybe Chris B. does? It appears to me as if your uncle, a war volunteer, was quite capable- rising from lowly Pvt. to Vitzfeldwebel and thence to LtdR within only a few years. Also, it seems he was in IR 155 and thence to IR 146. I can't read it because the print is so small-but what was your Uncle doing between August 1919 and April 1926? The Prussian
Hi Ulsterman! I´ve got some infos about the IR46, that he is NOT recorded in the regimental history. Unfortunately! Well, I just showed the military infos. Just after the war, at jan.1919, he used to be a teacher in his (and my..) hometown, Essen Edited August 18, 2011 by The Prussian
