    Good Day, Gentlemen! May be somebody can identify(country, descriptions, ribbon, etc) that medal is this? 35x35 mm. Thanks.

    The pattern of the flag is distinctive. AFAIK, the only Arabic-speaking countries with flags of that pattern are/were:

    - Iraq 1920-24

    - Jordan 1928-date (but they have a star on the triangle)

    - Yemen 1967-date (but they also have a star on the triangle)

    - Sudan 1970-date.

    I'm not an Middle East medal specialist. But this is for the Baath "revolution" 8 march 1963 in Syria. I don't know if it's official government issue, but I suspect it's a souvenir type fob.

    This gilt piece is for the 8th of March Revolution of Syria. A coup done by the military, lead by the Ba’ath

    Party of Syria, on 8th march 1963 to overthrow what was called the "Disengagement Government" that came to power after the elections that followed the separation of Syria and Egypt.

    When searched for it, among of the Syrian awards such medal didn't see anywhere. Strange anniversary - 17 years, flag... may be this is kind of memory jeton? or it's an award, then what ribbon?

    This is a Ba'ath Revolution Medal, not sure what the ribbon looks like? I will do my best to find out more research on it.
