AFAIK, the only Arabic-speaking countries with flags of that pattern are/were: - Iraq 1920-24 - Jordan 1928-date (but they have a star on the triangle) - Yemen 1967-date (but they also have a star on the triangle) - Sudan 1970-date. This is a Ba'ath Revolution Medal, not sure what the ribbon looks like? I will do my best to find out more research on it.
