is this an IRAQI helmet? M1 style with polish Wz50 liner

I think this helmet might be a IRAQI helmet? notice it has a Polish Wz50 liner w / chin strap that has been crudely riveted in a M1 type shell painted desert tan, Ive seen some other helmets like the Iraqi M80 helmet with the same type of liner installed , I think it looks like something done by the Iraqis

it has the look of a Iraqi war bring back, I wonder why they would take the liner from a good Polish helmet and put it in the M1 type shell? then you would have a Polish shell missing the liner, unless the Polish helmet had a badly damaged shell and they salvaged the liner from it
