Yugoslavia Medal for long service in security forces

Hi,

I spotted lately one medal for long service in security forces. There are many such medals for 10 and 20 years of service in security forces. But this is one medal for 30 year of service made in GOLD.

I saw only two times such medal in many years, I believe that it is not very common.

Wow, I've never seen that one before either! Can you post the averse too? As far as i know, these security medals are NOT federal Yugoslav, but Croatian (Socialist republic of Croatia).

That is correct Valter. It was awarded in Socialist Republic of Croatia.

It's only for Internal Affairs City of Zagreb (Socialist Republic of Croatia) and awarded only 30 pieces for 30 years of service in internal affaires. RRR !

Excellent and very rare medal. It was indeed a police medal in one of the socialist republics in Yugoslavia -Croatia.

The only thing I would question is the number of awarded, as it could be just a little bit higher...
