    It appears to be an "LV__". Here is one of mine which appears similar to yours. I have seen them in the following configurations, LV 11, LV 18, and this one, an LV 67, I think. . .

    Many thanks for your reply. I have never heard about such hallmark for WW1 aera. So this iron cross is probably a 1939 made. too bad :banger:

    The "LV" manufacturer is unknown to the best of my recollection. On another forum we discussed this topic and came up with the following "LV" marks that have been identified. . .

    I believe "LV" was a WWI period manufacturer. . .
