ostprussenmann_new Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 It's a shame that all of these great men are starting to die off. If anyone has a WWII veteran that is still living, I would reccomend digitally recording their stories. I started doing it a few years ago. I only had wished that I had done it for my Grandfather. i still remember some of his stories, but our children will never get to hear the stories of our ancestors. Col Dick Winters passed this year, this man did, and the Pearl Harbor survivors are not meetintg anymore. It is a sad story.
