Laurence Strong Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 (edited) I got this collection of books in the hopes of findinf answers to a never ending list of questions. "Sammlung von Heeresverwaltung Verfügungen". It's a 16 volume set with a 3 book set of regulations from1924 to 1935, unfortunately it's written in fraktur and will take some work to get through. The three book set of regs Edited December 30, 2011 by Laurence Strong

TacHel Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Very nice!! I hope you'll keep a good record of the translation! And maybe share one day...
Laurence Strong Posted December 30, 2011 Author Posted December 30, 2011 (edited) Hi Frank It's going to be a slow go, as it's all written in fraktur Anytime anyone has a question i have no problem looking things up....it is probably the only way it's going to get translated. The index to the 16 bande set has 4 sections, alphabetical and 3 sections in numeric order Can someone decipher the initials? Edited December 30, 2011 by Laurence Strong
Paul R Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 That is really cool!!! Anything about a blue nebenfarbe?
Laurence Strong Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Hi Paul As in medical? I am just starting to try and work my way thru these, i will let you now what i find. You have given me to more words to look for waffen and nebenfarbe...... ;)
Paul R Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I sincerely look forward to seeing what you find. Can you see if they have anything about medical or dental specialists? The Angolia book lists one, that was used prewar(blue nebenfarbe).
TacHel Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Hi Frank It's going to be a slow go, as it's all written in fraktur I have 2 old German books like that... I can only translate so much per hour before my eyes burn...
