Good evening, Dave!

 

Just a short question: Prussian Machine has his promotion to Charakter als General der Infanterie on 4.9.1913, you on 16.6.1913. Could you please confirm which date is right? About the death date, you write 21.12.1924 (like the Bundesarchiv), everywhere else it is stated as 23.12.1924. You don't happen to have a picture of his grave? Thank you! EK II and I as well as Pour le Merite in WWI. I would be very thankful for a list of his WWI decorations.

16.6.1913 is correct. Gazetted in the Militär-Wochenblatt on the same day. 4.9.1913 was the date he was placed zur Disposition.

 

I had 21.12.1924 as that is the date given in the Ehrenrangliste. However, the burial register of the Garnisongemeinde Hannover says he died on 20.12.1924 at 11:15 AM and was buried on 24.12.1924.
