I think the first name in the red ink is Arnold. Maybe Arnold Teubel was the owner of the picture, as opposed to the depicted, who is Wilhelm Eugen Teubel? I wonder what the dates 1872/76 refer to?

this must show Major Arnold Teubel during the time he served as a Major in Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 27 between 26 October 1972 and 13 April 1876 when he retired as an Oberstlieutenant z.D.
