mickey Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 hi all i have seen this badge under a few different names but have used richard catalanos site to identify it as a reservist badge quite common i think but nice with an inscription on the base of the box just wondered if any members can see a date in the inscription or have any idea as to the date these badges began to appear
fukuoka Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I have the info about this group somewhere in my files... Have to go a-hunting. This box is inscribed Taisho 9 [1920].
fukuoka Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 The group was established in Meiji 43 [1910] and disbanded in Showa 21 [1946].
