Dieter3 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Here you go, #34,416, also on August 1st, 1912 to Kekichi Matsuo, an army paymaster (accountant?). Shape is weird as I cropped the photo to hide the magnets holding it down flat to a white board. Kinda looks crappy all cropped, but better than with the magnets!
Dieter3 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Here are the two watermarks, sorry for the crappy photos - not good backlighting on my part, I gotta figure out how to better do these.
JapanX Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) Super nice! Extra thanks for these watermarks! You know I like details ... ;) Edited November 5, 2012 by JapanX
JapanX Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) ...an army paymaster (accountant?). Accountant? I think more like a cashier :) Edited November 5, 2012 by JapanX
JapanX Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) Well, currently in US Army they are defining this job as "the job specialty of Finance paymaster works on duties such as recording financial transactions on the correct accounting forms, disbursing checks, bonds, advance pay and cash, and organizing past expense information to help plan and lay out future budgets" Sounds fascinating! Check out their recruiting office in SF - 670 Davis Street (tel. (415) 433-4512) Edited November 7, 2012 by JapanX
