    Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

    In fighting for a heavily defended enemy strongpoint (?)rizergarten on 20 March 1945, Comrade Kandavadze was the first to rush into the settlement, where they destroy eight German soldiers, suppressed the fire of two enemy firing positions, and continued a pursuit of the Germans.

    He displayed personal, officer bravery in fighting for Hill 171.0 on 21.3.1945 where he personally killed two German soldiers with his assigned sidearm and took one prisoner. He was seriously wounded in this engagement.

    He is deserving of the Order of the Patriotic War II Class.
