Some of my British uniform pictures

Hi all,

Just to bring more live into this forum, I post some of my British uniform pictures up here.

1. Royal Regiment of Artillery, 2nd Lieutenant. 1917 upwards.

2. Very large photo, made in Dublin. Junior Officer from Grenadier Guards, ca. late 1890. Nice crimson silk sash over the shoulder.

3. Royal Artillery gunner ca. 1900. 9 button full dress tunic and a pill box forage cap (replaced 1902). Belt from 1888 "Slade Wallace" pattern.

4. Territorial Royal Garrison Artillery (?). Cant figure out what ribbon bar he had. Perhaps Effiency Medal?

5. Group of Royal Artillery soldiers.

6. Royal Irish Fusiliers, sergeant major, pre 1908 cord shoulder straps. Probably has QSA and KSA ribbon bar. Picture made in the Rathmines studio in Dublin.

7. Royal Irish Fusiliers soldier. Most likely 10th Irish Division. Picture made in Cairo.

No, not really. I am still into Royal Dublin Fusiliers

Beer thread must wait - as a mature full time student now, who gave up his job, I can't afford beer trips or evenings outside. In home as well most of time goes to the children and to study..... ahaaa, who I am kidding, actually drinking liquere at the moment :)

Here is new one. Picked this one up mainly because post to be made by Rathmines, Dublin photographer but turned out that this info was only hand written. Also because it is not portrait, I need to find someone who wants it.
