    I have recently obtained the documents of Kapitanleutnant Franz Weidgen, who took part in "Operation Albion" 1917, wondered if anyone had any career details or photos of him, will post the documents as soon as possible, thanks, Paul

    Here is his entry from the Ehrenrangliste:

    There is probably more information and a picture in a Crew Chronik for the Crew of 1900, but I don't have that volume. Nor does Ancestry.com, whose digital library skips from 1899 to 1901.
