JapanX Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 That`s what happen when you wear this jetton ... intensively
JapanX Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Another very interesting jetton from 1938 Obverse
paul wood Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 The seller asks ... $1.300 It can't be the seller to the north of New York, he'd want $5,000Paul
fukuoka Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Another badge, photos supplied by a third party. Appears to be dated Koutoku 9 (1940) I think. Sterling silver, but the remaining inscription is dulled and hard to read.
fukuoka Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 See the same insignia here, about halfway down the page http://imperialjapanmedalsandbadges.com/manbadges2.html
JapanX Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 Another badge, photos supplied by a third party. Very interesting and darn salty
JapanX Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 By the way, talking about tow badges in post #26 I`ve noticed difference in the inscription on reverse http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_08_2014/post-6141-0-70431600-1407244029.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_08_2014/post-6141-0-34894600-1407244036.jpg So after all it could be that only one of them was blackened ...
JapanX Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 It can't be the seller to the north of New York, he'd want $5,000 At the very least!
JapanX Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Bought this one recently (first time I see this one ... could also be the last one )
JapanX Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Case (original to this jetton or not - impossible to say )
