    I believe you are right. Could be barracks or also possibly "Einquartierter d. Soldat. (standes ) or lodged member of the military.

    It was sometimes usual and entirely lawful to place military personnel with private facilities such as families, taverns and similar for lodging when barracks were not available.

    Looking at it again, I think it is something like "einquartierter ?. Soldat". Does that make any sense?

    It is from a census record. I think this page was from a Kaserne, since everyone in the household was a dude in his 20s.
