Just wanted to confirm that these two soldiers were in the Belgium uniforms?

1. I am pretty sure regards that he was from Belgium. Picture was made 1919 in Bruxelles.

whats his rank?

No ideas regards this one. But they came together, so I think maybe he is from Belgium as well (or Spain???)

Certainly .. I have several pictures with these gentlemen with these same uniforms.

The stripes indicates no rank, they are front stripes for their presence in the frontline.
