JapanX
These very interesting and quite scarce badges... Time to have a little chat about them! When this foundation that issued them was established is not known for certain (most likely in 1937 or 1938). When this foundation was ceased to exist is not known for certain (no earlier than in 1940) To whom these badges were issued is not known for certain (most likely (judging by their rarity) to high-ranking officials and/or "for exeptional merits"). One source says that this foundation was a paramilitary organization (similar to labor armies of comrade Trotsky ) that recruited all manchu men over the age of 20s who were physically unfit for the army. Durability of their volunteer labor was at least 3 years Glorious barrack days of volunteer labor in different industries of Manchukuo Empire All other info we will get from the badges Three types of badge are known badges issued in 1938badges issued in 1939badges issued in 1940 Lets take a close look at them. JapanX
Badge from 1938 This is the most quality (and well designed) type of them all. All these badges were made in silver and bear mark (in the left lower corner of reverse) "pure silver".

JapanX
Badge from 1938 These badges have slightly different design and lower enamel quality. Also no marks "pure silver" in sight. Most likely these badges were made from some alloy (possibly silver contained alloy). There are two variations of this badge. Variation
