EK 1914 American themed EK doc.......

Other than the fact that a lowly private seldom if ever got an EK1..... what makes this doc so interesting?

OK... so no takers....

1)- a lowly Private is rare as rare for an EK1

2) This Unit in July 1918.... was resting after heavy action in June 1918

3) "Come on, you sons of bitches, do you want to live forever?"

Indeed... this was the regt slap in the middle.... the award was made when they were pulled from the line... UNFORTUNATELY there is no regt history for them, but I assume for a private to get the EK1 he must have done something extraordinary...
