I bought this famous photograph at ebay, but I haven´t recieved it yet (so I took the photo from ebay - because of that it´s got stil the yellow stripe...). But I can´t wait to ID the nationality. So I post it here. The uniform looks like british, but the patch and the shoulder boards (three rectangles) are unknown to me. The reverse is blank. Maybe Ireland?
