Golden Kite in 1st and 2nd class is much rarer award than these two But $15 000 is very very VERY cheap!

dark379
25 years ago Order of the Chrysanthemum could cost as much as $100 000!!!!!!! Wow $100,000, i think price before are higher, due to no much people have internet those days, and cant compare prices easily also or do research (unlike today just set on your computer with internet all information are there already) just need to search it. JapanX
1,368,000 yen for the paulownia By the way, this is another super low price - last time I was offered Paulownia (from this time period) it was $28000
utopis
By the way, this is another super low price - last time I was offered Paulownia (from this time period) it was $28000 Yes, but if we remember that the price for the chrysanthemum was 1.450.000 (the last time, reserve not met) and consider how cheap the two kites were sold on eBay it didn't came to me as a shock. As I said these are just the wrong places to sell such rare awards. I don't think many billionaires are searching eBay and Y!JA each day to get some of these babies (Which are usually offered less then once a year on these sites). But it's good to know were you can score bargains I'm sure they would sell for way more if offered to the right people. Well Nick, are you reflecting on all your purchases now? JapanX
This incomplete "Paulownia" set from Meiji was sold today for 401,000 yen Hmmm Missing breast star + pretty salty (to put it mildly) sash badge ... Guess the price is close to "fair" No?
