Noor Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Hi all, Any ideas from where to start with the research of WW2 period Territorial RA Efficiency medal? I checked just in case CWGC and LG sites. Also ancestry without any hits. I kind of remember that there is possible to get some type of papers from RA museum (?) regards the WW2 servicemen? Kind Regards, Noor
paul wood Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Firepower Museum (RA Museum) in Woolwich should be able to help.Paul
Noor Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 Thank you Paul! To you know does they answer online queries as well or I must find a researcher who must go on site? Regards, Timo

Noor Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 I received replay from the museum. Sad part is - all the materials are away from there and will be not back before August-September. Good news - all the materials are away in order to become digitalised, that mean some moment they will be available to access online (random guess but perhaps ancestry or findmypast are adding these materials into their database?). That will make RA WW2 awards much easier to research!
Michael Johnson Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I've heard that it is Findmypast. I'm anxiously awaiting these too. Michael
