i didnt expect that i will have those medals someday, and also i didnt expect that the 1st class medal will be together again.

Yep, now these two kites (badge and breast star) have exactly the same gilt!

ya you right Mr. Nick and they are more color silver in birds area, rather than the other one have golden color.... don't know if there is difference in 1st class set breast star, and 2nd class breast star.

Well, the 2nd class breast star simply have better preserved gold gilt (most likely because it was less subjected to sun or any others external factors).

Japanese gold gilt (on pre WWII orders) have a tendecy to "burn out"

oh i see, so it is same, just different in how did the veteran use it and the process of making it.
