alan_g
Here is a small, but interesting ribbon bar from a medic, possibly from Hamburg with an Austrian red cross award. I am struggling with the ID of the last two. What appears to be a plain white ribbon, and the Order of St John?.
Guest Rick Research
Can't always tell--I've seen plenty of dyslexic bars with "upsde down" pins but I think the Johanniter/St John comes first ending with the Prussian Red Cross MEdal. Pure white-- ? Ölberg Cross? ? Saon Lifesaving
alan_g
Yes you are correct Rick, I had it upside down, should have paid more attention the bow at the bottom of the wreath! The white looking ribbon I am sure is faded from whatever colour it originally was.
Daniel Krause
I would guess the white ribbon is an Ölberg cross. No medic, most likely a well situated nobleman who contributet with money and efforts to the church and the red cross. Lots of greetings Daniel
