Chris Boonzaier Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Thanks to a fantastic surprise from Don I have managed to more or less double my Verdun "snaps from above"... Over the next few weeks I am going to try and match them with my trench maps.... Here is a relatively untouched Fleury in March 1916

Chris Boonzaier Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Hear is the Vaux Teich/Dam Photo from april 1916 showing the French lines, the map about 40 days later, Red for French positions, Blue for German.
Chris Boonzaier Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Here is an Interesting one, the bottom of the Photo touches on the village of Vaux, botton right touches on the Vaux teich/Pond, and Fort Vaux is top Left. Bottom half right you can see the French MG positions that could take all of the Village, Teich etc under fire...
