Chris Boonzaier Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Which pattern were they? I dont know, they were long Johns, stamped to an uhlanen regiment, maybe 1912 or 1913... tons of stamps etc... am sure it was good.... but after reading theis... I am not sure if I wanted it.... Keep cutting the cheese, America. A British line of fart-filtering underwear is doing big business, and it has the United States to thank for it. "Americans are making up the majority of our sales at the moment," Shreddies spokeswoman Ianthe Betts-Clarke told The Huffington Post. Since word about the odor-neutralizing Shreddies passed through the Internet a few days ago, the company has experienced a 400 percent increase in orders over all, Betts-Clarke estimated. Shreddies weaves a carbon cloth called Zorflex into its rear panel. Betts-Clarke says it can squash the smell of "200 times the average flatulence emission." (Shreddies apparently hasn't met my Aunt Edna.)
Hoss Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Which pattern were they? They were winter jersey wear dated 1905, I wanted them but seller doesn't take bids from the US or paypal whatever I'm not spending $42 on a money transfer on something worth $80-100 anymore, sod it! I kept the pics they are identical to the ones shown in Kraus. Eric
Chip Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I have a nearly identical pair, even marked to the same U.R.11. Mine are dated 1901 and are also B.A.G. marked. Someone must have raided the garrison laundry! Chip
Hoss Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Chip Do you have an infantry pr they seemed to be tougher and of course the bidding reflects that. Eric
Chip Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 (edited) Hossie, I do have a mint Bavarian infantry pair. They're nicely marked. Chip Edited December 18, 2013 by Chip
Chip Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Continuing with the shirts....here is another one of my army issue ones. Marked B.A.XV 1915.
Chip Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 And here is an issue linen shirt. Marked "K.C.1916".
Chip Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 And an issue navy work/field jumper. B.A.W. (Wilhelmshaven) 1915.
Chip Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 And finally, my navy dress jumper along with an issue white top cap.
Hoss Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Chip Is the stamp on the work jumper a full date for 'day nov.15' ? Eric
Chip Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Eric, Yes, it's November 5th, 1915. Almost all navy issue gear is marked this way. Chip
