Jktu Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Interesting that official name of this brown color (that is so typical for japanese badges) is copper and not bronze Copper - 銅 dou. Bronze - 青銅 seidou; literally: green copper.
JapanX Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Aha! /// Well, maybe it's time to create a separate thread completely devoted to this swordsmanship badge and its variations? What do you think guys? If it's ok with you I'll make one on Saturday
jshorter Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 That would be great! The more info, etc., the better!
jshorter Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Hi everyone, Just picked this one up from Rich. I'm not sure the Class though on this one. Any thoughts? Jason
JapanX Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Well, this is model 1939 badge. For privates. In turn these came in two classes: higher (gold rim + gold rifles) and lower (no gold whatsoever) Nice score man!
