Two day „Neutrale Zeit“ at Verdun 17 - 21/10/1916

Gentlemen,

I believe I have the correct location, but cannot find any information relating to a two-day ceasefire at Verdun commencing 17 October 1916. There has been truckloads written about this particular battle and I was hoping that someone might being able to add some background to the following photos.
