Luftwaffe "Stern von Afrika" painting

Greetings to all -

Once in awhile, something comes along that I find I just would dearly love to have in my collection such as this period oil painting of the "Stern von Afrika", Hans Joachim Marseilles. It didn't cost me much, and I thought it might go well displayed centrally between some of my autographed photo's that I have. On the back, in pencil, there is but written "Hauptmann Hans Joachim Marseilles".

Is there others here who find these paintings of interest? If so, please add yours here for us to view.

Well Frank,

I find this particular one very interesting.

I think it's a nice display item,but it has more IMO.

There's less to find about this man other than a few books and some portrait pics.

I personally like this painting a lot and wish I had it,also,it's very well done.

One of the greatest fighters !

Unfortunately I don't have something like this to show.
