Jock Auld Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I will have a poke around the cellar see what I can find, I know what you mean about pictures or scanning but it is such a pain in the arse to do, at least on my machine.
Jock Auld Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) As statet, please see attached some pics from an A4 size book made from a war artists sketch book, its about half of them, I will add the rest in the week, I have others that have loose A4 prints but I ca't find them sorry! jock Edited March 23, 2014 by Jock Auld
Spasm Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Jock Very nice indeed. The single Hans Liska skizzenbuch from 1944 with most of his WW2 pictures. Very sought after. I have his Airforce and Army skizzenbuchs from 1942 and 1944, combined they have many of the pictures as in your single one but not all. He also did sketches for the German magazines which are pretty hard to find but I do have a few. His sketchbooks for Daimler Benz and the US Racing circuits are very expensive as a set, again, if you can find them all. Drool
Spasm Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) Here's a couple of his that you won't have in your skizzenbuch Villiers-Bocage during Michael Wittmann's tiger tank romp and an American B17 Flying Fortress being ripped apart by? Does yours have the aftermath of the Dieppe Raid? Edited March 23, 2014 by Spasm
Jock Auld Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 yes it does, I'm about half way through it, I will do the rest later on in the week as you know it is a pain cropping resizing etc. Jock
